The citizen-logbook.com "Team"

To date, Citizen Logbook, Carnet de Vol d'un Citoyen de l'Espace, is, and remains, the work of a single person: "ile-avalon." Nevertheless, you may have already noticed the appearance of new members on the site, such as Small-didi le Rageux and EL'V.15, so let me say a few words about these new contributors to the site.

Small-didi le Rageux

Small-didi le Rageux was born out of a whim and a desire to change things up when writing an article for the pause-café section of the French-language part of the site—to take more liberties with the writing style, but also to express a more personal opinion, and even to use less official sources. As you've probably already figured out, Small-didi the Hothead is just another side of ile-avalon, but in a more blunt, no-nonsense version...

Although he's a "Verse personality" with his own media column, you'll mostly find Small-didi le Rageux in the pause-café section. These favorite topics are mainly devoted to the following subjects or themes...

EL'V.15

EL'V.15, Small-didi's little sister, was born in late 2024, shortly after I was introduced to an AI tool that would prove to be a huge help in writing articles that normally take too long to prepare and that I simply couldn't write on my own. EL'V.15 is therefore my "AI assistant," whom you'll mainly find in the AMA section, which features numerous videos from YouTube...

This AI allows me to quickly analyze the content of a video, highlight key points, compile FAQs, and more, making it possible to write articles that weren't feasible before due to a lack of time.

For now, EL'V.15 is still in the experimental phase, and I hope to master it as best I can to unlock its full potential. Only time will tell, but keep in mind that if an article is signed by EL'V.15, there's a good chance its content is largely based on analysis performed by an AI tool. My role is more to ensure the AI isn't spouting nonsense and to polish the final text so it reads more "human."

Open the site to "real people"

For now, the citizen-logbook.com team has been joined by two new "virtual" contributors, and it's possible that others may join us if the need arises.

As for outside help, I've been offered it on several occasions, but the site's design makes that difficult. Although I'm still open to the possibility of asking various people to write an article, this will remain a one-time, exceptional occurrence.

In any case, if you'd like to contribute by writing an article or a blog post on citizen-logbook.com, I'm open to all proposals, and you can always contact me to share your ideas—and we'll see what happens...

Contact?

I'm not easy to reach. In the past, I've found that simply providing an email address—or even a contact form—tended to attract more spam than anything else, despite various anti-spam measures. So, if you want to get in touch with me, you'll probably have to go through a bit of a hassle...

The most direct way is still to go through Spectrum; I check in there regularly and read my private messages, so that's where you'll have the best chance of finding me... However, avoid contacting me in-game—it's not the best place to strike up a conversation, especially since my chat window is often closed.

I'm also on the Discord servers for the Compagnie Diligente Galactique (CODIGA) and JVCom.
Finally, although I'm still registered, I no longer respond to private messages from jeuxvideo.com—the toxic community there has worn out my patience...

Support citizen-logbook.com

I'd like to remind you that Citizen Logbook is first and foremost a personal, self-funded initiative, as stated in the legal notice. I try to maintain the site as best I can—both in terms of the time I spend writing articles and financially—despite the rather difficult times we've faced in recent years.

I am not asking for any help at this time, and I hope I won't have to resort to putting ads on the site to keep it alive. But I won't hide the fact that, even though the situation has been improving for some time now, it's still difficult for me to devote time to the site, and maintaining it is starting to take a heavy toll on my finances...

Some of you have offered to help me manage the site, and I thank you for that, but I want to continue handling it on my own, mainly because I created this site first and foremost to keep myself informed about the game's news, and if I start delegating part of my work, I'll miss out on certain information because I didn't do the research myself—especially since, as I've already mentioned, the site's very design isn't really suited to being managed by multiple people.

Now, I'd like to remind you that if you'd like to help me or encourage me... there are other ways, such as simply sharing your opinion with me, or even suggesting your ideas, or even submitting a one-off article as mentioned earlier.

As for newcomers, you can use my referral code below when creating your Star Citizen account; it's always rewarding for me if I can receive a few rewards from the referral...
